Video & Photography
The use of recording devices of any kind is strictly prohibited in the theatre. Thunderstruck does not allow the use of audience photography or videography of onstage performances for the protection of our competitors. We urge all studio owners, teachers, and especially parents to keep our performers photographically safe. The use of cameras, cell phone cameras or any recording device, will lead to point deductions and/or disqualification. A professional photographer/videographer will be on site whenever possible.
If no videographer is on site at a competition, Thunderstruck Dance Productions will inform studios prior to the event. They will be able to assign one video representative to film their entries only. The representative must film in the designated area.
Thunderstruck Dance Production makes every effort to align with reputable vendors (photographers, videographers, etc.) at various events. However, Thunderstruck Dance Production is not responsible for any unfulfilled orders resulting in a financial loss for the customer that may be caused as a direct result from the business practice of its vendors.
Dressing Rooms and Lobby
The performance venue, lobby and dressing rooms will be opened 30 minutes before the start of the competition and close 30 minutes after the last awards session. Dressing rooms are NOT assigned- They are on a first come, first serve basis. In the event that you require additional theatre and/or technical time to set-up a performance, please inform us prior to the event so logistics can be organized. Depending on the nature of these requirements, set-up, take down or cleaning may be charged for this time. Please keep watch of all personal items left in public dressing room areas. Thunderstruck is not responsible for any items that have been misplaced or stolen.
